Dorothy Moore is a dynamic speaker and teacher, her ministry has touched countless lives at home and abroad, reflecting God’s

heart to see His children walk in complete spiritual, emotional and physical healing and marked by a strong emphasis on reconciliation between people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures.

In 1987, Dorothy founded Reconciliation Outreach, an inner-city life rehabilitation program providing a safe haven for the homeless and needy. Her book, “Lady in the Hood”, describes her journey from the privileged life of a New York debutante to the establishment of Reconciliation Outreach in a drug and gang infested East Dallas neighborhood. Her colorful and compelling story inspires people to discover the Lord working miracles, moving through the “least likely” people in the most unlikely places!

An ordained minister, Dorothy earned a B.S. degree in Christian Counseling and later founded Reconciliation Church in 2001. She is a member of Christian Community Development Association, the Greater Dallas Prayer Ministry, the Association of Prison Ministers, Mission America, and Christian Counselors Association. She has received various awards including the Unsung Heroes Award from Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, the Potter’s House Legacy Award from Serita Jakes and the Volunteer of the Year Award from J.C. Penney.

Dorothy has appeared on TBN, CBS News, many local news stories and radio programs, and has been featured in various publications including a cover article in Charisma magazine. She has spoken to numerous churches and organizations and has also done international seminars for women in Russia, Romania, Singapore, Indonesia, Ethiopia, and India.

Dorothy and her family now reside in Tool, Texas, and she is the mother of four adult children and three grandchildren along with hundreds of spiritual children in Christ of which they affectionately call her Mom Dorothy. Her life continues to be a living epistle of what someone can do when they obey the call of Jesus.
